This lunchen was a very big deal here. Only a few were chosen to eat lunch with Mrs. Preston while her husband eat lunch with the soldiers. (I got to be one of the few - yay!!) Before we went to luch we had a get together at the PBC where all the wives cooked a little something for Mrs. Preston.

"Today's Soldiers continue to perform magnificently protecting our Nation with boots firmly on the ground around the world. The Nation values the commitment of our exceptional men and women in defending the freedoms we enjoy and defeating the enemies who challenge the values of our society. Our Soldiers and Noncommissioned Officers are the centerpiece of the best equipped, trained, and led Army in history. Our Soldiers are skilled, professional warriors who live our Army Values, embody the Warrior Ethos and define the American patriot. I am honored to serve alongside these great heroes."
